A Young Carer is someone who regularly helps and supports a family member or friend who requires ongoing care with things such as;

This person could be a parent, partner, child, sibling, relative or friend who lives with a disability, dementia, chronic health condition, an illness that is terminal or is frail due to age.

Connecting with other Young Carers through groups and activities
Chatting things through with a trained Young Carer Counsellor
Helping in a crisis with emergency respite if required
